With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Lawrence Mckay Jr. of Petawawa, Ontario, who passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Melvin William and Ruth Mckay; his children, Patrick McKay (Cindy), Theresa Gribbon (Brian) and Mary Thomas; his grandchildren, Dylan and Dakota McKay; and his siblings, Donnie McKay (Gilda), Mary Jewkes, Elizabeth Lowther (Carman) and Charles McKay (Cathy). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
