He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Theresa Mary Walsh; and his sister Brenda Mary Walsh-Brown (Bob). He is survived by: his spouse Doreen Walsh; his children, Lisa (Steve Thom) of Westmeath and Kelly (Brent McAllister) of Kingston; his grandchildren, Natasha, Jordan, Robert, Breanna, Brock and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Myles, Benson and Kayne; his parents-in-law, Marion and Howard Miehm; his sister-in-law Caroline Poole (late Robert); and his niece Kimberley Brown.
