Aileen McCalip Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Aileen McCalip (Peterborough, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cowie and Violet Crowe Cowie; and her husband Robert Shannon Paudash McCalip of Hiawatha. She is survived by: her siblings, Robert, Boyd, Alfred and Lucille Cowie Howson; her children, Slade and Risa (Gilbert Bartosh); her grandchildren, Samantha, Hannah, Jacob, Melanie, Bobby, Monica and Rebecca; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Roman.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hiawatha United Church (120 Paudash St, Keene, ON K9J0E6). A reception will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 13 Lakeshore Rd S, Peterborough County, ON K9J0E6.
In lieu of flowers, Aileen requested that donations be made to Hiawatha United Church.
