He was predeceased by: his brother Bill. He is survived by: his significant other Jacqueline Powell; his children, Stuart, Matthew (Charlotte), Amy (Paul) and Vanessa (Michael); his grandchildren, Maeve, Rowan, Darragh, Euan, Callum and Nolan; and his sisters, Joan, Phyllis, Marjorie and Gayle. He is also survived by many other relatives, friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 150 George St N, Peterborough, ON K9J3G5.
