He was predeceased by : his parents, Alexander Gear and Catherine Slade. He is survived by : his daughter Debbie Jobson of Peterborough; his grandchildren, Christopher Wyborn (Jennifer) of Lansdowne, Ontario. and Leanne Best (Steve) of Lansdowne, Ontario.; and his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Jalynn Wyborn and Tristan Best.
