“Al Rennie is one of the few teachers at LDSS that made it bearable during the hellish years of highschool.. He was one of the most approachable teachers there who truly cared about the students. It was wonderful when we reconnected via Facebook. His novels helped me through a rather bleak time living in China. I also adopted his teaching ethos with my own students, be professional and fair during class and also be approachable as a friend outside of class. He will always be remembered!”
