It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alice Heffernan of Peterborough, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 89, on January 14, 2022. She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent Thomas Heffernan; her parents, Austin Hogan and Mary Fitzgerald; and her siblings, Agnes Steffler (Bill), Brother Edward Hogan (Fergus), Brother Nicholas Hogan (Vincent), Gerard (Rita), Joseph (Leverne), Francis (Fern) and Redmond Hogan (Audrey).

She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Raymond Heffernan, Clotilde Quinn (late Gerald), Marie Moher (Richard), Marguerite Sullivan (Cletus) and Frank Heffernan (Marie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Covid restrictions require all attendees to RSVP at Duffus Funeral Home at 705-745-4612 between 9 a. m. and 4 p. m.

In memory of Alice, donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society (Sacred Heart/St John's conference) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
