He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy; his child Ronald Downer (Donna); his grandchildren, Chris Downer (Christine), Kelly Hull (Jody), Jenny Johnston (Norse), Laurie Marshall (Bill) and Bob Johnston (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Brady, MacKenzie Hull, Logan, Cameron Downer, Hayden, Lily Marshall, Emily, Ella and Fern Johnston; his sister Harriet Cardwell (late Tom); and his sister-in-law Madeline Downer.
