She was predeceased by: her husband William John "Mansel" Burley; her parents, Albert Sargent and Rheta Sargent; and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn Bradley, Freeman and Leslie Fee.

She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Lang (Herb) of Omemee, Bob (Pat) of Omemee, Ann Wakelin (Larry) of Omemee and Jane Gillespie (Alasdair) of Cobourg; her grandchildren, Bonnie Lindsay (Paul), Debbie Man (Mike), Laurie Foster (Garry), Chad (Rachel), Meredith Burley (Joel Harrison-Off), Heather Ball (David), Elaine Read (John), Valerie Lougheed (Jesse) and Brian Wakelin (Sarah); her brother Ron Sargent (Anne) of Cobourg; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Fee and Helen Erickson.
