She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Sweeting; her children, Lyle Sweeting (Tammy) and Laura Deniluk; her grandchildren, Josh (Kelly), Matt (Casey), Samantha (George) and Kevin (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Arielle, Ryder, Travis, Rylee, Quinn and Roman; and her siblings, Gerald Hampton (Donna), Roger (late Helen) and Fran. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Comstock - Kaye Life Celebration Centre (356 Rubidge St, Peterborough, ON K9H4C7). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rosemount Memorial Gardens (2551 Whittington Dr, Peterborough, ON K9J0G5).
