He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Welsh and Doris Welsh; his siblings, Laurelyn Higgins (Patrick), Bruce Welsh (Pamela), Alison Welsh (Glenn) and Adrienne Beaucage (Scott); his nieces and nephews, Kyle Welsh, Dylan Welsh and Alyssa Beaucage; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Conner and Wyatt.

Memorial Donations may be made to The Cancer Society or to honour Barry's love of dogs to The Durham Region Humane Society.
