He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Violet; his children, Theodore (Katie) of Victoria, B. C., Loriann Sharp (John) of Port Hope and Julie Guyatt of Frankford; and his siblings, Julie, Jacob, Tom, Melita, Louise and Elizabeth. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
