It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice McNamara-Hawkins of Peterborough, Ontario, who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzear Tremblay and Clarice Tremblay; her siblings, Freda, Hilda, Loretta, Rita, Lucille and Ken; her former husband Martin McNamara; her children, Sonia Doyle, Peter McNamara and Brian McNamara; and her spouse Bert Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Terry (Adele), Patrick (Mary), Barry (Janice) and Michael (Mary); and her daughters-in-law, Marsha McNamara and Debby Terrion.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Private Family Funeral Mass will be held at SACRED HEART CHURCH on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
