With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bert Jan Arends (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on February 2, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Coby; and his brother Ted. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Robert (Jeannette) and Vivian (late Tim); his stepson Joe; his brother Hans (Peta); and his grandchildren, Vance (Jen), Tanya, Michelle, Maia, Noah, Ethan, Isaac, Abigail and Jake. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that donations be made in Bert's memory to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
