Betty Ann Ahern Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Betty Ann Ahern (Peterborough, Ontario). Betty Ann, born on August 5, 1944, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cavanagh and Opal Driscoll; her brother Ron Cavanagh (Barb); her husband David Ahern; and her brother-in-law Brian Ahern (Karen).
She is survived by: her children, Kim Ahern (late Gerry Mason), Debbie Wainman (Mark), David Ahern (Debbie) and Greg Ahern (Nicole); her grandchildren, Sarah, Mike, Zack (Carly), Braeden (Marissa), Josh (Emma), Amanda, Joe, Nicholas (Olivia), Taylor (Evan), Payton and Tyson; her great grandchildren, Kai, Lainey and Lennon; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Clark (late Lew). She is also survived by her many cousins, extended nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Cathedral of St. Peter (411 Reid St, Peterborough, ON K9H2M4). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the St. Peter's Cemetery (870 High St, Peterborough, ON K9J5R2).
