He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sharon Marchen (late Greg) and Jim Moher; his mother-in-law Hazel Preston; and his parents, Fergus Moher (Ted) and Mary Heffernan.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthie; his child Courtney Butters (Michael); and his sisters-in-law, Bea Abbott (James) and Stella McIntyre (late Douglas).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, Bensfort Road (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Liguori Roman Catholic Church (1066 Western Ave, Peterborough, ON K9J5W6). A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at the Little Lake Cemetery (915 Haggart St, Peterborough, ON K9J2Y1).
In memory of Carl, and in lieu of flowers, donations to PRHC Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
