She was predeceased by: her husband John Ward Gibson'Jack'; her parents, Kenneth Ferguson and Audrey Ferguson; and her siblings, Don Ferguson (late Marie) and Verla Clarke.
She is survived by: her children, Susan (Craig), Doug (Holly), Rob (Marlene), Larry (Wendy) and Donna; her grandchildren, Travis, Jad, Brendon, Tristin, Courtney, Kylie, Grant, Larry, Ben, Madeline, Olivia, Ashley, Mallory, Brittany and Jack; her brother Robert Ferguson (late Carole); and her sister-in-law Anne Sargent (late Ron). She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins.
Donations may be made to Mark Street United Church, the Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame, the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family. In addition, a kind act of charity in memory of Carol who was the personification of 'help' and giving of her time, would be appreciated by her family.
