It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carol Mary Higgins (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 72, on April 11, 2024. She was predeceased by : her brothers, Fred Primeau (Pat), Paul Primeau (late Shirley), David Primeau (Christine), Doug Primeau and Johnny Primeau.

She is survived by : her husband Bob Higgins; her daughters, Jessica Higgins, Mandy Higgins (Shawn Hatfield) and Trisha Cicchello (Max); her grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis, Jordyn, Jase, Drew, Mona and Stella; and her siblings, Gail Hetherington (Paul Higgins), Wayne Primeau (Kim), Anne Primeau (late Don Emby), Peter Primeau (Chantelle), Dennis Primeau and Michael Primeau. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In memory of Carol, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Brock Mission or the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
