He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Peel; his sisters-in-law, Louise Ruypers (Bert) and Myrna Peel; his sibling's children, Sarah Peel (Mark), Guy Peel (Kelly), Jason Ruypers (Dani), Julia Li, Haylee Peel, Molly Peel and Dan Peel; and his mother-in-law Barbara Peel.
