He was predeceased by: his wife Norma; his grandson Steven Card; his parents, Minor Card and Elizabeth Card; and his sister Jenny Taylor (Dave).
He is survived by: his children, Dale (Leah McCracken), Debra Stencell (Peter), Gail Kelly (late Darren) and Tracy Chaplin (Jeff Bolton); his grandchildren, Jenn Byrne (Jason), Krista Stencell (Matt), Leanna Stencell (Shane), Brandon Card (Kenzie) and Kyle Bolton; his great grandchildren, David, Jace and Jude; and his siblings, Violet Mountney (late Ron), Don (Sylvia), Erma Storey (Bernard), Hilda Hawley (Truman), Roy and Ross. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions a private family graveside interment will take place at Rosemount Memorial Gardens and a Celebration of his life will be announced at a later date when restrictions ease.
