With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Wilhelmina Kamaladevi Samuel (Peterborough, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Sunderampillai and Daniel Sunderampillai; her siblings, Franklin (Yoges) and Logan; and her siblings-in-law, Rajadevi (Satchi) and Vijendran (Margaret).
She is survived by: her spouse Balendiran; her children, Christine Kathiravelu (Satheesh), Helen Samuel (Arindran Devaprasad) and Harold Samuel (Sara); her grandchildren, Shaylene, Joshua, Matthew, Isabella, Savannah and Isaiah; and her siblings, Winston (Malar), Beatrice (late Dharmendran), Vivian and Gladis (Chandran). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
