He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Kelly and Betty Kelly; and his mother-in-law Norma. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his pets, Gracey and Eddie; his siblings, Susan Kelly, Debbie Froggatt and Blaine Kelly; his siblings-in-law, Dale Card (Leah), Debra Stencell (Peter) and Tracy Chaplin (Jeff); and his father-in-law Clifford Card.

In keeping with Darren's wishes a cremation will take place and a Celebration of his life will be announced at a later date when COVID-19 restrictions ease.
