He is survived by: his wife Rosemary (Downey); his children, Michael, Shannon of St. Thomas, Monique of Lambeth, Edward and Christine of Bobcaygeon; his grandchildren, Ashley (Peter Burnard), Leah, Jacob, Leslie, Owen Herman, Nathan (Julie McCuaig), Mathew and Bryan; his great grandchildren, Rachel, Trevor Walker and Hailey Rose Herman; and his siblings-in-law, Laura Powell of Peterborough, Patricia Baro (late Marte) of Fairborn, Ohio, Charles Downey (late Carol) of Calgary, Dominec, Betty Fox (late Ann), Lindsay, Lynda Downey (late James) of Downeyville, Catherine Schram, Chatham, Ian, Carol McIntosh and Stoney Creek.
