He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lyall and Jean Lyall (late Wendilin Lyall). He is survived by: his children, Mackenzie, Natalie (Adrian) and Bethanie (Chris Vyn); his grandchildren, Lex and River; his siblings, Charlie, Michael (Ken) and Marsha (Charlotte); and his close friend Patti Briggs.
