David James Mercer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2025, at the age of 73, David James Mercer in Peterborough, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Mercer and Dorie Mercer; and his brothers, Dennis "Buzz" (Debbie) and Wayne "Bub" (Pat). He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra Carol (late Glenn), Shelley (late Norma), Mark (Wendy) and Kevin (Terri). He is also survived by nephews and the many friends.
