It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Debbie Marie Rye (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 73, on June 29, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Steenburgh and Rose Steenburgh; and her brother Randy. She is survived by: her spouse Gerry; her children, Scott (Elke) and Geoff (Laura); her siblings, Cheryl Keitel (Kirk), Cindy Schulz (Ed), Cathy Lavigne (late Gerry), Kim Wilson (Dan), Darrell Steenburgh (Susie) and Ron Steenburgh (Kathy); her siblings-in-law, Cindy Steenburgh, Sally Rye, Richard Rye (Judy) and Philip Rye (Rita); and her grandchildren, Ashley, Julia and Easton Rye. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (1550 Lansdowne St W, Peterborough, ON K9J2A2).
Donations may be made in Debbie's memory to the Alzheimer Society or PRHC Foundation.
