He was predeceased by: his father John Bushie; and his sibling Beverly Oulds (Keith). He is survived by: his daughters, Marie (Michelle) and Lyn Felton; and his siblings, Thomas Bushie, Laurie Bushie, Steven Bushie (Dolly), Wendy Davis (Phil), Cindy Cochrane (Chuck) and Becky Bushie (Terry).
