With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denton Sherwood Payne (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on May 11, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherwood Payne and Irene Payne; and his brother Ron Payne. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Shanen, Glen (Sandra), Keith (Christa) and Jason (Doreen); his grandchildren, Bryanna, Alyssa, Emelia, Ethan, Lucas, Joshua, Mya and Ireland; and his siblings, Marwood (Kathy), David (Barbara), Lynn (Kathy), Ruth (Bob O'Brien), Colleen Barry, Jim (Wendy Crowley), John (Laurie Crowley) and Linda (Richard Allen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
