He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Deyell and Annette Deyell; his brother Jo-Anne Deyell (Marlene); and his brother-in-law Mark Seabrook. He is survived by: his wife Judy Deyell; his child Adrian Deyell (Miranda); his grandchildren, Leah and Tyler; his parent-in-law Jean Seabrook; his siblings-in-law, Mavis Amos (late Jack), Evan Seabrook, Carolyn Hall (Gregg), Virginia Drury (Craig) and Craig Seabrook (Cathy); and his close friend Judy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Expressions of sympathy or memorial donations (Hospice Peterborough, Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation, Lakefield Animal Welfare Society), are welcomed by the family.
