Doreen Ruth Hawkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2026, at the age of 95, Doreen Ruth Hawkins (Peterborough, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Cal; and her parents, John Noble and Alma Noble. She is survived by: her children, Sherlene Challice, Sheila McKenna (Joe), Cathy Arsenault, Stuart Hawkins (Geneva), Deb Simpson (Doug), Rick Hawkins (Wendy) and Bev Harrington (Mike); her brother Ken Noble; and her siblings-in-law, Joan, Joanne and Gordon. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Comstock Funeral Home (356 Rubidge St, Peterborough, ON K9H4C7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the Greenwood United Church or the Keene United Church.
