It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen Thelma Sanderson (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on August 21, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Gordon Shropshire; and her siblings, Bill (Elsie), Jack and Audrey Yates (Charlie). She is survived by: her spouse James "Sandy" Sanderson; her children, Jan Wasson (late Shawn), Tom Sanderson (Nancy), Lu-Ann Lukes (Frank) and Mary Van Leeuwen (Tom); her grandchildren, Ian McAlpine (Karla Warren), Bill Wasson (Gail), Melanie Wasson, Dan Lukes, Jim Wasson (Kalsang Sundup), Becky Harnden, Kyle Sanderson (Ashley), Kristi Sanderson, Ben Commodore (Heather Craig), Bridget Commodore, Lauren Van Leeuwen, Claire Van Leeuwen and Mark Van Leeuwen; her great grandchildren, Kori, Lexie, Ryan, Dawa, Wyatt, Nyima, Maizey and Ezzy; and her parent Alice Allam.
