We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2022, at the age of 97, Doris Mable Gardner in Peterborough, Ontario, born in Belmont, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melville Dafoe and Ercell Dafoe; her sisters, Eva Dafoe and Jeannette Clark; her brother-in-law Alfred Cooper; her siblings, Ferna Stockdale, Joan Cooper and Glenn Dafoe; her daughters, Patricia Ann, Ruth Schumaker, Jean McManus (Tighe) and Lois Gardner-Earl (Lawrence); her grandsons, Michael Schumaker (Tania), Brendan McManus (Marcela) and Devin McManus (Jaime); and her great grandchildren, Nathan and Kellen McManus.

Donations to Hospice Peterborough or to The PRHC Foundation would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
