With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Riel (Peterborough, Ontario), born in Moose Creek, Ontario, who passed away on March 4, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blair and Mary Blair; her siblings, John, Roderick, Edward, Helen, Freda and Margaret; her spouse Gord Riel; and her son Brian Riel.

She is survived by: her sister Alma Godard; her sister-in-law Levina Blair; her children, Beth Riel, Carol Blair and Keith Riel; her grandchildren, Darlene, Kevin, Cory, Mick and Carri; and her great grandchildren, Payton, Jack, Bowen, Hailey, Alex, Hunter, Bailey, Autumn, Zylar, Gracie and Tytus.

In memory of Doris, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
