It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ling (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Dorothy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Dorothy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Ling; her daughter Bonnie Fowle (Michael); and her parents, John Robinson and Grace. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Hudson (late Max), Nancy Sherrer (Paul), Barry Ling (Catherine) and Kim Ling (Sheri). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
