He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Ethel May (Page); his children, Jay Sutton of Lakefield and Janice Sutton of Lakefield; his grandchildren, Tianna and Kylyne; and his sister Tacy Perkins (Clare). He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
