She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Paetzold; and her granddaughter Jennifer. She is survived by: her sons, Horst (Jane) and Werner (late Renate); her granddaughters, Laura (Rob), Emily and Melissa; her great grandchild Lawson; and her siblings, Herbert Starry and Eleonora Hamel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In honour of Elisabeth, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by her family.
