It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elizabeth Ann Derry (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 86, on January 2, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Edgar and Jean Barclay Lapp (Gillespie); her husband William Norman Derry; and her close friend William "Bill" Carman of Furlong, PA. She is survived by: her children, William Paul Peters Derry (Ingrid) of Winnipeg, Martha Elizabeth Hunter (David) of Peterborough and Rachel Ann Derry (Chris) of Dundas; her grandchildren, Natalie Hunter, Zachary Derry, Clare Miles, Hannah Derry, Gabriel Miles and Jacob Derry; and her cousins, Nancy Johnson, Peter, Hugh Rose and Norma Bown. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Given COVID-19 realities, a memorial celebration of our Mother's life will take place later, most likely this coming spring.
