He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Monahan and Lila Hartwick; his siblings, Bernard, Anne Marie, Phyllis and Bernice; and his siblings-in-law, Mary, Shirley, Doris, Ray Radey, Harold Smith and Harry Pulcine.
He is survived by: his spouse Muriel Rome; his children, Donna Branscombe (Rod), Robert Monahan (Barb), Patti Harding (Tom), Susan Brown (Tom) and Deanna Ellis (Steve); his grandchildren, Amy, Leslie (Paul), Kyle (Kelley), Justin, Brian (Melissa), Angela, Brittany, Jordon (Manda) and Madison; his great grandchildren, Tanner, Trent and Elizabeth; his siblings, Carl, Norma Bertrand (Jack), Priscilla Radey and Karen Monahan; and his siblings-in-law, James Sinfield, Wayne Young and Margaret Pulcine.
Donations to the Lung Association or Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Intensive Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
