She was predeceased by: her stepson Jeffrey Paxton; her parents, Herman Franks and Hazel Franks; and her brothers, John and Donald Franks.

She is survived by: her husband Russell Paxton; her children, Brenda McIlvena (late Al), Susan Fleming and Gregory Hall (Jean); her stepchildren, Brent Paxton (Sharon) and Lesley Ford (late Richard); her grandchildren, Jeff, Jim (Missy), Jodi, Amanda (Joseph), Michael, Bryce, Reid, Ryan and Emily; and her great grandchildren, Hayden and Corrina.
