Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 88 years of age. Beloved husband to Willy (nee-Viersma) for 58 years. Proud father of Doreen Daley, Anita Steiginga, and Richard Steiginga (Robin) Cherished Grandpa of Alex, Allison, Maranda and James.

Dear brother of the late Freerk Steiginga (Klaaske), Fred Steiginga (late Gay), Ed Steiginga (Brenda), the late Gerrit Steiginga (Klaaske), Maatje Tuininga (late Sytze) and the late John Steiginga (Lucy). Friends may visit COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Cephas Christian Reformed Church (220 Goodfellow Road, Peterborough) with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
