She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Downer and Rhoda Downer; and her husband Douglas Howard Dawes. She is survived by: her children, Jane of Peterborough, David Allison of Peterborough, Janice of Peterborough, Wayne Martichenko of Peterborough, Ted of Peterborough and Holly Dawes of Peterborough; her great grandchildren, Meredith, Spencer of Allison, J. D., Hunter, Claire, Charlotte, Harper, Cate and Dawson; and her siblings-in-law, Isabella Downer and Vin Downer. She is also survived by Aunt.

Due to the pandemic restrictions, a private family service will be held on Wednesday, August 25th.
