He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Young and Zita Young (O'Donaghue); his brothers, Joe (Zita), Bobby, Billy (Anne) and Pat; and his brothers-in-law, Owen Swift, Steve Winn and Bob Cadigan.
He is survived by: his wife Verda; his children, Jennifer, Mary Pat, Fergus Jr., Charles, Anne Marie and Colleen; his siblings, Jean Winn, Madeline Cadigan, Irene Grills (Roy) and John Young (Helen); and his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Young and Bonnie Young. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
