He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Smith; his sister Judy; and his parents, Vernon Smith and Marion Smith. He is survived by: his children, Denyse Johnson (Ron) and Kim Hayford (Steve); his grandchildren, Christopher (Lisa), Amanda (Jeff), Amy, Abby, Jackson and Maddison; and his siblings, Glen (Marilyn), Shirley Nicholls (Barry) and Bruce Carr.
