With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve Caroline Thompson (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on April 7, 2022 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clive Arthur Thompson; her parents, Gerald Rowland and Janet Rowland; and her siblings, Randy Rowland and Debbie Potvin (Gerard).
She is survived by: her close friend Tom McNamee; her children, Christopher (Marcia) and Sarah (Alex Miller); her grandchildren, Hamza and Sajda; her sisters, Geraldine Reardon (Mike) and Heather Balsdon (Bill); her siblings-in-law, Kate Herbacko (Jim), Maggie Reyenga (Pete), Mike McNamee (Sylvia), Brian McNamee and Maureen McNamee (Rodney Boswel); and her nieces, Samantha Taylor and Stefanie McMillan.
All are invited to attend a Celebration of Jenny's Life at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Eulogies at 3:00 P.M. In memory of Jenny, donations to the PRHC Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
