With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Frederick Hobbins (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on October 22, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Cecilia O'Brien; his granddaughter Kayla; his parents, Patrick Hobbins and Mary Gooley; and his siblings, Eileen Courneyea, John, Michael (World War II), Dennis, Emmett (Dan), Leo and Maurice.

He is survived by: his children, Jane Kent (Karl), Pat, Frank (Cindy), Neil, Gary (Lori), Anne Henry (Ken), Michael (Lisa), Nancy Lebeau (Rick Foley) and Marilyn Attle; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Alexis, Lisa, Joe, Nicole, Derek, Beckie, Chris, Kevin, Brittany, John, Jessica, Ashley of Matthew, J. J., Alicia, Robert, Taylor, Khloe, Owen, Everly, Lincoln, Lucas, Addie, Myah and Bella.
