He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hennessey and Kathleen Hennessey; his siblings, Larry (late Mary), Bob and Mary Catherine (late Reg Hughey); and his close friend Susan Meredith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Don (Lynn), Paul (Linda), Maureen Freeburn (Craig), Peter (Kendra) and Patrick (Maggie).
