She was predeceased by: her husband Erwin Klatt; her parents, William Patzia and Elsie Patzia; and her sister Beth Friesen (Al). She is survived by: her sons, Greg (Shelley) and Alan (Claire); her grandchildren, Mitchell (Marina), Alanna, James and Sarah; and her siblings, Gerda Fast (Neil), Art Patzia (late Dorothy), Norman Patzia (Frieda) and Joanne Neumann (Heinz). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
