He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri "Dusty" and Leona Doucette; his stepson Rick Howlett; and his siblings, Roland (Mary), Sylvia (Rick) and Joanne.

He is survived by: his wife Violet Doucette; his children, Shane (Karen), Heather Cole (Sean) and Tammy; his stepdaughter Penny Howlett (Fred); and his siblings, Michael (Barb), David (Doreen), Diane (Wayne) and Lillian (late Red).
