It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gilda Stante of Peterborough, Ontario, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Stante; her parents, Donato Moscatello and Irene Moscatello; and her siblings, Florence DiIio, Nicolo Mosacatello, Margherita Masciangelo, Giovanni Moscatello, Annetta Seca and Victorio Moscatello.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Garrett (Eldon), Donald Stante (Diane) and Linda Fricker (late Bruce); and her grandchildren, Matthew Garrett (Manpreet), Jordan Fricker, Joseph Garrett (Zara), Nicholas Stante (Larissa), Alysia, Melissa and Sidney Fricker.
Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11 a. m. Those wishing to attend the funeral are required to RSVP by calling the funeral home at 705-745-4612 between 9 a. m. and 4 p. m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all guests are required to have proof of full vaccination, along with government issued photo ID and wear a face covering to attend the funeral.
In memory of Gilda, donations to St. Joseph's at Fleming or the Alzheimer Society may be given.
