He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite and Gerard; and his brothers, Yvon and Andre. He is survived by: his wife Judy Therrien; his sons, Dan Therrien (Teresa) and Patrick Therrien (Roanne); and his grandchildren, Caitlin, Emily, Marley and Malcolm. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In memory of Gilles, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family.
